Many top marathoners took to the streets on London on Sunday morning.

The third World Marathon Major of the season, the London Marathon, took off on Sunday morning. Conditions were sunny and pleasant for the athletes on their journey from Greenwich Park to The Mall.
It was a fantastic day of racing, that saw Tigist Assefa break the women’s-only marathon world record, and Sabastian Sawe impressively pull away to win the men’s race. Here are the top ten in each race.
