Try this – Gluten-free, blueberry banana bread, perfect for runners

A healthy banana bread to enjoy before or after a run –


4 bananas

3 eggs

300g ground almonds

100g blueberries

1tsp baking powder

A squeeze of honey


1. In a bowl, mash four bananas. Add three eggs and a squeeze of honey.

2. Add 300g ground almonds and 1tsp baking powder – mix well.

3. Fold in 100g blueberries.

4. Pour into a lined baking tin and place in the oven at 170C for one hour.

5. Leave to cool. Slice and eat.
